This course is suitable for anybody who is involved with manual handling at work, including lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.

The course will be tailored to the delegate and the specifics of their place of work. Delegates are encouraged to ask questions and participate in the course, making it interactive, memorable and enjoyable.

Principles explained and demonstrated in this course will include:

- types of injury	- mechanics of movement
- legal background	- use of manual handling aids
- safe handling	- factors affecting injury
- good posture	- use of protective equipment
